Nat’l outstanding archers champs starts in Vĩnh Long

HÀ NỘI — Nearly  二00 athletes from  一 九 teams across the country are competing in the National Outstanding Archers Championship in the southern province of Vĩnh Long.

They compete in various categories of men’s and women’s recurve and compound bows for  三 六 sets of medals.

According to Nguyễn Thanh Tuấn, director of the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the event is part of the national elite sport competition system.

The event’s best athletes will be chosen for the national team to compete in coming international tournaments including the Asian Games in Indonesia in August.
